COVID-19 Advisory
by posted 07/10/2020

Dear Norchester Families, players and coaches:

While we are happy to be offering a summer/fall baseball program, we must also continuously adapt to the changing impacts of COVID-19 in the United States.  Our primary focus must remain the safety of everyone in our program including players, families, guests, opponents, officials and coaches.  As such, we will fully abide by the safety requirements of the State of Pennsylvania and the Owen J. Roberts School District.  As requirements impacting our play change, we will advise you as soon as possible.

The latest change mandated by the State of Pennsylvania specifies a necessary 14-day “self-quarantine” for any one who has visited and returned from the following states:  AL, AZ, AR, CA, FL, GA, ID, LA, MS, NV, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT.

Norchester players who visit these states may not participate in any NYAA activities for 14 days after your return to PA.
We will try to keep everyone appraised of all additional changes as soon as we are notified, however, it is possible that changes may occur near (or even during) an activity, resulting in informal notification from the coaching staffs at the activity site.  We realize this may prove inconvenient, but safety comes first.

We cannot thank you enough for your support of NYAA in these challenging times.

John Lewis, President.

Paul Kochu Scholarship fund

Please consider donating to The Paul Kochu Scholarship Fund

The scholarship is given to an Owen J. Roberts graduating senior with interests in pursuing a career in nursing.  Paul passed away in 2014.  Paul played for Norchester in 2009 and 2011.  He was a great teammate and friend.  His tenacity on the field, especially when running down the first base line was unmatched.  Paul was a Bulldog through and through.  We miss Paul every day and hope you can help by donating.

Thank you,

NYAA (Norchester Baseball)
